Prime Minister Summons Sihasak and Pakorn for Talks Before Cabinet Meeting No Ministers Absent Today

Prime Minister Anutin summoned Sihasak and Pakorn for talks at the Thai Khu Fah Building before the Cabinet meeting. The agenda is expected to include reports on the list of Thai ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz and the 500 billion baht loan decree. No ministers have reported absences for today's Cabinet meeting.


At 08:30 on 21 April 2026 at the Government House, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived to begin duties at his office in the Thai Khu Fah Building at 09:05. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Puangketkaew met with the Prime Minister at the Thai Khu Fah Building, likely to report on the Oman defense matter and coordinate Thailand’s submission of the list of Thai ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz again after the SCG vessel passed safely. This occurred at 09:15. Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn Nilprapunt also met with the Prime Minister at the Thai Khu Fah Building, following the issue of preparing the 500 billion baht loan decree.

Then at 09:45, before the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Anutin took photos with recipients of the Prime Minister Awards: Thailand Cybersecurity Excellence Awards 2025 and other awards in the main hall of Building 1. Later, at 10:00, the Prime Minister chaired the Cabinet meeting in Room 501 of Building 1 without giving any statements. No ministers reported absences for the Cabinet meeting today.
