Kla Tham MPs Pay Respect and Seek Blessings from Thammanat and Narumon, Vowing to Serve the People Fully Regardless of Status

Kla Tham party MPs paid respects and sought blessings from Thammanat and Narumon, emphasizing that even if not in government, they will continue working fully for the people. They highlighted music and sports festivals to stimulate tourism across the country and wished party members and the public happiness throughout the Thai New Year.


At 6:00 p.m. on 21 April 2026 GMT+7. Kla Tham Party. Led by the party's executive committee, members of parliament (MPs), and party members joined a water pouring and blessing ceremony for the Songkran Festival, the traditional Thai New Year. Participants included Mr. Akra Prompao, MP for Phayao; Mr. Attakorn Sirilattayakorn, MP for Chachoengsao; Sergeant Major Yotsingh Liamlert, MP for Chachoengsao; Mr. Jatuporn Kamolpanthip, MP for Ratchaburi; Mr. Jamlong Phunwana, MP for Kalasin; Mr. Jeeradej Sriwirat, MP for Phayao; Mr. Naret Thamrongthippayakun, MP for Chiang Mai; Mr. Sanya Nilsuphan, MP for Nakhon Sawan; and MPs from Narathiwat including Mr. Lutfi Hayiet, Mr. Amin Mayuso, Mr. Sampan Mayuso, and Mr. Prasit Nota, MP for Nan.

Also present were Navy Commander Anudit Nakornthap, the party’s strategy chairman; Mrs. Mukda Pongsombat, former MP for Khon Kaen; and Mrs. Anurak Boonsol, former MP for Sakon Nakhon. They joined in pouring water and seeking blessings from Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat Prompao, the party list MP and party advisory chairman. Also present was Mrs. Narumon Phinyosinwat, head of the Kla Tham Party.


Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat expressed his blessings to party members, saying, “I thank everyone who came to participate in the traditional Thai water pouring ceremony.” He affirmed that as long as he breathes, he will stand by every member of the Kla Tham family. Although the party is not in government, it continues to have support and strong ties with people nationwide. From visits to Phayao province, he noted a steady flow of people coming to meet them, reflecting ongoing public confidence in the party. He cited the use of music festivals as a tool to promote tourism and create a distinctive feature for Phayao, turning these into major annual events during Songkran and the year-end New Year festival.

There are also plans to expand such events to provinces in all regions—north, northeast, central, east, and south—focusing on building networks and cooperation to drive sports and tourism activities. These include competitions for the Royal Cup and the Thailand Jet Ski Championship to enhance reputation and stimulate local economies.

At the same time, Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat emphasized that whether the party is in government or opposition, it can still assist the people through its networks. They plan to organize operational structures at the regional level to ensure assistance to the public is comprehensive and effective. Toward the end, he said, “I wish all party members and fellow citizens happiness, prosperity, good health, and encouragement in their work. May sacred powers protect you safely. I also pray to Allah to grant peace and safety to all Thai Muslims.” .
