The Secretary-General of the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) has ordered an investigation into temporary government service assignments, stressing that personnel must genuinely perform their duties with clear, written orders only. Violations will face severe disciplinary penalties.
On 23 April 2026, General Chaipruk Duangpraphat, Secretary-General of ISOC, issued strict directives to the ISOC Personnel Administration Office and all subordinate units to systematically, rigorously, and continuously verify the attendance of personnel temporarily assigned from various agencies.
This action aims to clarify that all personnel ordered to work within ISOC must actually perform their duties at the unit’s location and fully participate in advancing the organization’s mission to the best of their abilities.
The Secretary-General clearly emphasized that all personnel must work at ISOC’s location only, except when specifically ordered by superiors to undertake critical ISOC missions on a case-by-case basis. All assignments must be clearly documented in writing and be verifiable. This measure intends to strengthen ISOC’s readiness, address security issues, and ensure unified, efficient coordination among agencies.
Additionally, the Secretary-General warned that any failure to comply with orders, neglect of duties, or absence without valid reasons will result in serious disciplinary action and may constitute a grave violation under relevant regulations. This measure aims to raise personnel management standards by ensuring transparency, accountability, and maximum efficiency while concretely preventing neglect of duties.
