The Education Ministry is adopting Bangkok’s "Traffy Fondue" technology, aiming to provide a fast channel for students and teachers to report safety issues through LINE.
On 23 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Akkharanat Kankittinan, Deputy Minister of Education, visited to study the Traffy Fondue platform's operation as preparation to integrate it as a nationwide channel for reporting safety and welfare concerns of students, teachers, and education personnel.
Mr. Akkharanat stated that the Education Ministry is establishing a "Center for Protection of Rights and Freedoms" to address delays and complex steps in the traditional bureaucracy. Recognizing the high efficiency and wide acceptance of Bangkok’s LINE Chatbot reporting system, he came to gain knowledge and requested Bangkok to act as a "mentor" in developing the system.
The Deputy Minister explained that adopting this technology will allow distress reports to reach ministers and responsible agencies immediately, whether concerning infrastructure, damaged school buildings, unsafe equipment, complaints of rights violations or welfare issues in schools, and will enable transparent, real-time monitoring of problem resolution, reducing the burdensome traditional reporting steps for teachers.
“Having an easy-to-use platform will ensure issues reach administrators directly, quickly, and precisely. We aim to transform operations to create genuinely safe educational environments,” said the Deputy Minister. He added that today’s cooperation is just the beginning, and in the near future, the Minister of Education will hold official discussions to drive wider technology adoption, with the ultimate goal of ensuring safety and protecting the rights of all education personnel and students nationwide.
