The Prime Minister arrived at the Government House early to oversee preparations and get ready to welcome Wang Yi for talks on purchasing Thai agricultural products, before sharing a lunch served by a Thai chef.
At 08:30 on 24 April 2026 at the Government House, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived. At 11:00, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, paid a courtesy visit during his official visit to Thailand as a guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting took place in the reception room on the second floor of the Thai Khu Fah Building at the Government House. At noon, they were scheduled to have lunch together and discuss topics including purchasing Thai agricultural products, Chinese business investment partnerships, technology exchange, and combating scammers.
Reporters noted that upon arrival, the Prime Minister stepped out of his vehicle and instructed security officers at the Thai Khu Fah Building to tidy and beautify the plant pots in front of the building and maintain overall orderliness.
Reporters also reported that before the Prime Minister arrived, a team of Thai chefs had prepared lunch catering at the Thai Khu Fah Building to welcome the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
