The Prachachon Party is joyful after avoiding the first hurdle in the case involving 44 MPs, as the court did not order suspension of their duties. Supporters feared the party might be dissolved, but Sirikanya quickly reassured them, saying, "The party is not dissolved yet."
On 24 Apr 2026 GMT+7, reporters at the Maple Hotel in Bang Na, Bangkok, where the Prachachon Party held its general meeting while awaiting the verdict on the case of 44 MPs, reported that immediately after the Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Political Office Holders accepted the case and ordered 10 Prachachon Party MPs among the defendants to continue their duties pending judgment, the atmosphere among the party members, MPs, and staff was joyful. Supporters were also allowed into the press room to show their encouragement.
Meanwhile, many party leaders expressed their intent to continue serving as members of parliament. At one point, Sirikanya Tansakul, a party-list MP and deputy party leader, entered the press room, where enthusiastic supporters rushed to hug and take photos with her. One supporter expressed fear that the party might be dissolved, to which Sirikanya promptly replied, "The party is not dissolved yet."
