Eang Nisamas announced her withdrawal from the Pattaya mayoral election candidacy under the Prachachon Party, citing personal reasons that prevent her from working to her full potential. She thanked the local residents for their openness and for continuously giving her the opportunity.
On 25 April 2026, reporters noted that the Facebook page "Eang - Nisamas Laoharattanahirun," belonging to Ms. Nisamas Laoharattanahirun, also known as Eang, who intended to run for Pattaya mayor under the Prachachon Party, posted a message stating: "I want to use this channel to inform everyone. First, I officially announce my withdrawal from the candidacy for Pattaya mayor under the Prachachon Party due to personal reasons that I believe prevent me from working fully. I thank the people of Pattaya and all team members who have been open and given me opportunities throughout. Thank you for the conversations, advice, criticism, praise, and for reflecting various issues—I have always listened sincerely. Thank you all from the heart."
On 31 March, Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the Prachachon Party, visited Pattaya, Chonburi Province, to campaign for Ms. Nisamas and launched the main campaign "Pattaya for Everyone." At that time, Ms. Nisamas clearly stated her goal to become the first female mayor of Pattaya representing everyone, without being under anyone's shadow. She emphasized spreading development across all communities, not just tourist areas, aiming to make Pattaya a livable city, a tourist destination, and an attractive place for investment.
Ms. Nisamas holds a doctorate from Burapha University and has extensive work experience in the hotel industry, education, and legislative work as secretary to the Tourism Committee and the Anti-Money Laundering Committee of the House of Representatives.
