Attakorn revealed that Kla Tham Party has worked smoothly with the People’s Party, highlighting that Thammanat is straightforward and cautious about joining the opposition’s signature to request the NACC investigation into Sak Siam’s case.
At 13:30 on 28 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Attakorn Sirilattiyakon, Member of Parliament for Chachoengsao, from Kla Tham Party, gave an interview at the Golden Tulip Sofferin Hotel before the party’s general meeting about Kla Tham Party’s role as part of the opposition coalition, saying he has openly communicated with representatives of the opposition parties since the first meeting of the Opposition Whip Committee and stated that Kla Tham Party’s working approach is straightforward. When disagreements arise, they notify others, which has been well received, allowing smooth cooperation over the past two months.
When asked about working with the People’s Party, Attakorn said cooperation has been problem-free. He works straightforwardly, as does Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, list MP and Kla Tham’s advisory chairman. He believes this approach is best, preventing misunderstandings or guessing about Kla Tham’s actions. He follows through on promises made.
, Regarding whether Kla Tham will join signing a letter to the House Speaker to request the Supreme Court to appoint a committee to investigate the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s (NACC) misconduct in the case of Mr. Sak Siam Chidchob, former Minister of Transport, Attakorn said that this morning there was informal discussion at the opposition whip meeting where parties expressed their positions. He stated this is an important matter requiring consultation with Kla Tham’s executive committee and party members to decide the approach. They prefer this to making promises and later changing their stance.
When asked if the party has already discussed this, Attakorn said discussions will take place within the next one to two days.
