Peerapun leads Ruam Thai Sang Chart (RTSC) in a major meeting to strengthen the executive board, pledging to advance laws on 'solar freedom' and credit bureau reform aimed at reducing public burdens.
On 28 April 2026 at the Ruam Thai Sang Chart party headquarters in Phaya Thai district, the party held its annual general meeting. Party leader Peerapun Saleerutthipak chaired the meeting, joined by key MPs and party members in high spirits to set work directions and restructure party management. The meeting approved the appointment of Colonel Fuangwitch Aniruthdewa to fill a vacant executive board position, strengthening the current board led by Peerapun Saleerutthipak (leader), Chatchawan Khongudom (secretary-general), Attawit Suwanpakdee (deputy leader), and Noraphat Kaewthong (deputy leader), among others.
Peerapun revealed the party's key goal as a coalition member is to push forward two laws directly benefiting the public: the Solar Freedom Act and Credit Bureau Reform Act. Particularly regarding clean energy, plans include coordinating with state financial institutions like Government Savings Bank and SME Bank to offer low-interest loans to citizens for installing solar panels at home.
Deputy leader Attawit Suwanpakdee added that the 'Solar Freedom' law will remove restrictions on household solar energy installations. It is expected to reduce average installation costs from 180,000 baht to under 100,000 baht, resulting in tangible long-term reductions in electricity bills. The law is currently in the public consultation phase under Article 77 of the constitution and is anticipated to be considered by parliament soon.
Attawit emphasized that RTSC's coalition work is not focused on negotiating ministerial positions but on advancing promised legislation. The party also introduced a new spokesperson team led by Dr. Attawit (acting party spokesperson), joined by Kriangkrai Mas Pojanasunthorn (Kendo), Sasikarn Watthanajan, and others to effectively communicate the party's policies and achievements swiftly to the public.
