Rakchat Party Holds General Meeting: Chaiwut Announces Expansion of Membership Base, Engages Youth Power

The Rakchat Party held a general meeting where Chaiwut emphasized engaging young people in politics and announced plans to expand the party's membership nationwide in preparation for the upcoming election.


At 14:00 on 28 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Chaiwut Thanakmanusorn, leader of the Rakchat Party, chaired the party's 2026 first annual general meeting for the third branch in the Northeast region, held at Major Grand Hotel in Chai So Subdistrict, Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province, under the theme "Because We Love the Nation Is Not Just Words: Mobilizing Youth Power for a Transparent, Corruption-Free Country." The meeting was attended by Rakchat Party executives including Mr. Rawee Laopoonrungsi, Deputy Leader; Mr. Thart Pojanapraphan, Deputy Leader; Mr. Tatsanai Thongmee, Deputy Leader; Mr. Thitipan Kayanon, Secretary-General; Mr. Naphat Nawakruasuntorn, Deputy Secretary-General; Mr. Chanin Pintong, Party Director; Mr. Ratthapoom Wallikul, Treasurer; Mr. Chaiporn Jirawinichnan, Party Spokesperson; Mr. Thitipat Chankaew, Deputy Spokesperson; along with other executive committee members and about 300 party members.


After the meeting, Mr. Chaiwut Thanakmanusorn stated that the party's general meeting proceeded smoothly. A key agenda was to provide members the opportunity to express problems and opinions, revealing that most concerns focused on the economic crisis and the livelihood issues facing the people.


"As we all know, the high price of fuel has triggered a chain reaction causing consumer goods prices to rise accordingly. The public is suffering greatly from the soaring cost of living. Party members have called on the Rakchat Party to be a vital mechanism to help drive and expedite solutions to these hardships," Mr. Chaiwut said. . . .

Beyond economic issues, Mr. Chaiwut also revealed the party's key strategy moving forward, stating that Rakchat has clear goals and plans to prepare for the next election.

"Our key strategy from now on is to actively recruit additional party members and rapidly build networks covering every province nationwide. We aim to strengthen the Rakchat Party. As the party gains more members and broader public support, we will have the power to collectively implement party policies effectively, addressing people's problems and advancing our nation's development," Mr. Chaiwut said.
