Phradorn revealed that Bhumjaithai will finalize the list of 14 committee chairs next week, assuring fairness to all sides. He declined to comment on whether MPs left the Line group out of dissatisfaction, expressing confidence that discussions will prevent divisions.
At 09:25 on 29 April 2026 at the Government House, Mr. Phradorn Prissanantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and a key figure of the Bhumjaithai Party, addressed reports of dissatisfaction within the party following the announcement of 14 committee chairpersons. Some MPs reportedly left the party’s Line group. He said the list is only a rumor and that the official list is expected in a week. The party's executive committee will meet again soon and aims to appoint the permanent committees as quickly as possible.
Regarding rumors that an expected committee chairperson was omitted from the list causing dissatisfaction and leading to leaving the Line group, Phradorn responded, "Was your phone malfunctioning or did Line glitch?"
When asked how the party plans to address members not receiving positions, Phradorn said, "There are limited positions. Many members wish to serve in various roles, but the party has more capable members than positions available. Therefore, we cannot assign positions to everyone. The party will manage its members with the utmost fairness."
Asked whether this would cause minor divisions within the party, Phradorn replied, "I don’t think so. We discuss our matters internally."
