The 'Thai Help Thai' initiative is set to launch on 1 May, covering 710 districts nationwide, offering essential goods at affordable prices directly to people in every area, with the option to order online.
On 30 April 2026, Ms. Lalida Pertviwatana, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the government is ready to officially launch the "Thai Help Thai" project on 1 May 2026. This nationwide affordable goods fair aims to immediately ease living costs and stimulate the grassroots economy at the local level.
As of 4:00 p.m. on 29 April 2026, Thailand has a total of 878 districts. Currently, the "Thai Help Thai" sales points have been established in 710 districts across 76 provinces (excluding Bangkok). An additional 168 districts are being allocated to ensure full nationwide coverage.
The private sector is fully involved. The project enjoys cooperation from modern wholesale and retail operators, including Lotus’s in 601 districts, Big C in 284 districts, Makro in 79 districts, Tops in 60 districts, and Go Wholesale in 5 districts.
Reaching every district—check for locations near you immediately.
The government has expanded product sales points to over 710 district offices nationwide, ensuring people can access essential consumer goods at affordable prices. Residents can check which district in their province has a sales point through each province's public announcements for maximum convenience and proximity.
If you can’t come in person—just place an order online.
Alongside in-store sales, the government has opened online channels through platforms such as 7-Eleven, Grab, and Shopee, featuring a “Thai Help Thai” icon that groups products in one place, making it easy, fast, and accessible for people everywhere to shop.
Immediate expense reduction—money circulates back to communities.
The project will sell essential items such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, and everyday consumer goods at affordable prices at district offices nationwide. Sales will begin simultaneously on 1 May 2026 and continue every Friday throughout May.
“This is not just a price reduction project, but a way to ensure 'affordable essential goods' reach every district's population, while also effectively circulating money within local communities from the grassroots level,” she said.
