
The Prime Minister presided over the ceremony presenting royal decorations to 154 Ministry of Interior officials.
On 30 April 2026, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired the ceremony to receive the royal decorations of the sash class for the year 2025. The event was held before a portrait of His Majesty the King to honor and encourage civil servants who have diligently performed their duties.
Today's ceremony involved awarding the sash-class royal decorations to 154 officials under the central administration. This group included former and current provincial governors, Ministry of Interior inspectors, former and current advisors, former executives, executives, and central staff. Senior executives attended the ceremony together.
In addition to the central ceremony, Anutin revealed that this year, 2,054 officials serving in regional and local areas will also receive royal decorations. The Ministry of Interior has assigned each province to organize ceremonies before a portrait of His Majesty the King at appropriate local venues, enabling all officials to collectively honor the royal grace and express pride in their service to the nation.
