Government Launches “Back To School 2026” Program with Discounts on Over 1,000 Educational Products to Ease Parents Burden

The government, in partnership with 49 businesses, is launching the “Back To School 2026” program, offering discounts on over 1,000 educational products from 30 April to 31 May 2026 to help ease the financial burden on parents.


On 1 May 2026, Ms. Ploytale Laksamee Sangchan, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the government has integrated cooperation with 49 businesses, including 20 manufacturers, 17 distributors, 10 service providers, and 2 online platforms, to organize the “Back To School 2026” campaign under the “Thai Help Thai Plus” project. The campaign offers discounts on more than 1,000 essential educational products and services from 30 April to 31 May 2026, expected to reduce living costs by at least 300 million baht.

The participating products cover school uniforms, school shoes, learning supplies, dairy products, office equipment, IT goods, and educational services. Discounts include school uniforms from Suksa Phan, Somjai Nuek, Watcharakhon, Somor, and Nomjit; school shoes from ADDA; learning supplies from The Mall, B2S, OfficeMate, and SE-ED; and dairy products from major brands like F&N, Nestlé, Hi-Q, Nongpho, Lactasoy, Thai-Denmark, Vitamilk, mMILK, Dutch Mill, and Foremost. Office supplies and electronics are available from DoHome, Power Buy, and Global House.

Service promotions include eyewear discounts from Top Charoen and Beautiful Glasses; internet packages from True with up to 68% off; special offers from AIS providing free three-month access to Alisa AI Premium; and special shipping rates from Thailand Post starting at just 30 baht per kilogram. Learning and skill development centers are offering discounts on courses and services, such as OpenDurian up to 75% off, We by The Brain up to 50% off, Yamaha Music School up to 20% off, along with free trial classes and waived entrance fees for various programs. Online platforms Lazada and Shopee join with Flash Sales up to 70% off and extra discount codes, making products more accessible across all channels.

Beyond the “Back To School 2026” campaign, the government plans activities to reduce living costs for parents and students at over 1,000 schools nationwide. The Ministry of Education will select schools in need and underserved areas, while the Department of Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce will distribute consumer goods, school uniforms, learning supplies, and stationery at affordable prices starting May 2026 to ensure broad access to assistance.
