Prime Minister Anutin inspected the venue for the Sanibat Club event and ordered the walkway roof leading to the Santi building to be properly renovated and dignified. He praised the workers and wished everyone good health, successful work, and stability in life.
At 09:35 on 1 May 2026 at the Government House, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, walked from the Thai Khu Fah Building to the Santi Maitri Building to inspect preparations for the Sanibat Club event celebrating Coronation Day on Monday, 4 May.
The Prime Minister advised officials to replace the plastic roof covering the walkway between buildings and remove the plastic roof’s supporting ropes for better appearance and dignity. He instructed those responsible to consider how to change it appropriately and attractively.
The Prime Minister said the current setup looked unattractive and served no real purpose. He gave the example that if intended to protect from rain, it failed because gaps remained without roofing along the walkway, so heavy rain would still cause people to get wet.
Anutin also addressed workers on National Labor Day 2026, expressing appreciation and wishing them good health, success in their work, and life stability. Regarding potential wage increase requests, he said that any decision must be based on reasonable grounds.
