Anutin said that just by looking into each other's eyes, he and Nattachon understand each other well. He called Nattachon "The Nui," his close friend whom he can be reached by phone 24 hours a day. He pointed out that Nattachon is a very important person in the party and revealed there is no need to call to clear the air after missing the committee chairmanship.
At 09:45 on 1 May 2026 at the Government House, Anutin Chanvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, was interviewed regarding whether he had reconciled with Nattachon Srikokuea, Songkhla MP of Bhumjaithai, over the committee chairmanship issue after reports that Nattachon was brought back into the party's LINE group. Anutin responded, "The Nui (Nattachon)? The Nui and The Nu are indistinguishable. He has been with me since 2019, probably at one of the first events I attended. Don’t overthink it. Our bond and relationship are stronger than anything. He is one of the very important people in the party."
When asked if Nattachon no longer felt resentful, Anutin said, "He’s completely with me, why would he be resentful?" When asked if "The Nu" was still well taken care of, Anutin replied, "No need for The Nu, take The Nui instead. What do you want? He is my friend. No need to talk about taking care of each other." When asked if they had talked, Anutin said, "No need to talk." When asked if they understood each other just by looking into each other's eyes, Anutin said, "Yes."
Regarding what position Nattachon would be given, Anutin said, "The Nui, of course. The position of The Nui is the coolest. How many people can call me anytime, 24 hours a day? There’s only The Nui."
