Meanwhile, Sutat, Member of Parliament for Nonthaburi from the Prachachon Party, appeared to welcome and helped push the shopping cart throughout the shopping, saying he "came to welcome."
At 11:00 a.m. on 1 May 2026, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, along with Ms. Suphajee Suthumpun, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, jointly launched the Thai Helps Thai product sale campaign to reduce burdens and living costs at Bangyai City Market in Nonthaburi Province. This day marked the official start of nationwide affordable product sales covering 710 districts through district offices and Modern Trade outlets such as Lotus's, Big C, and Makro. Sales will be held every Friday throughout May.
The event atmosphere was lively, with many citizens continuously purchasing low-priced products. Meanwhile, Sutat Meesiri, Nonthaburi MP from the Prachachon Party, was present to welcome the Prime Minister and assisted by pushing his shopping cart, walking alongside throughout the product booth visits. Sutat told reporters off-camera, "I came to welcome." The Prime Minister purchased items including cooking oil, oyster sauce, tissue paper, dishwashing liquid, rice, and instant noodles.
