The government has launched the "Thai Help Thai" project to encourage mobile vendors nationwide to participate, offering fuel subsidies to reduce operating costs and providing affordable products for resale. Applications are open urgently from 1-7 May.
On 2 May 2026, Ms. Lalida Pertwiwatthana, Deputy Spokesperson of the Office of the Prime Minister, announced that the government, through the Ministry of Interior, invites mobile vendors across the country to join the "Thai Help Thai" project. This initiative aims to reduce burdens and living costs through the mobile vendor network, strengthening the role of small traders in distributing affordable goods directly to people in communities and remote areas nationwide.
The project aims to support mobile vendors in effectively serving as distribution channels for reasonably priced products. The government will provide support in two key areas: fuel subsidies to reduce transportation costs and allocation of affordable goods for vendors to sell to the public at accessible prices.
Interested operators can apply online starting from 08:30 on 1 May 2026 until 23:59 on 7 May 2026, 24 hours a day without holidays, via the website https://mobilemarket.bora.dopa.go.th.
After applying, identity verification must be completed at the district office or with the local headman/village chief between 1 and 8 May 2026. Additional information is available at all district offices nationwide. The list of participants will be announced on 12 May 2026.
“This project is part of measures to support the grassroots economy by utilizing local networks to distribute affordable goods widely to the public, helping reduce living costs and creating economic opportunities for small community-based operators,” she said.
