
The Royal Gazette published a House of Representatives announcement advancing Khattiya Sawasdipol to a party-list Member of Parliament for the Pheu Thai Party, replacing Suriya Juangroongruangkit who resigned.
On 2 May 2026, the Royal Gazette website published a House of Representatives announcement regarding the promotion of the next-listed person on a political party's party-list to fill a vacant Member of Parliament seat. It stated that according to the Election Commission's announcement of the party-list MP election results dated 4 March 2026, Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, listed third on Pheu Thai Party's party-list candidates, was elected as a Member of Parliament.
Now, Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit has submitted a resignation letter from being a Member of Parliament effective 29 April 2026, resulting in the termination of his membership under Section 101 (3) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, B.E. 2560 (2017).
Therefore, by the authority of Section 105 (2) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, B.E. 2560, it is announced that the next person on the Pheu Thai party-list is
Ms. Khattiya Sawasdipol, who is promoted to be a Member of Parliament in place of the vacancy.
