Natthachon Urges NACC to Expedite Case Over 1.3 Million Baht Medical Expense Allegation

Natthachon explains that the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has yet to prosecute the case involving receipt of 1.3 million baht for medical expenses, saying it is currently under appeal. He urges a swift resolution due to its impact on his position and future public confidence.

At 12:40 p.m. on 4 May 2026, at the Bhumjaithai Party office, Natthachon Sri-Kokeua, Member of Parliament for Songkhla from Bhumjaithai Party, addressed criticism regarding the NACC's decision not to prosecute the case involving receipt of over 1.3 million baht in medical expense payments from others in 2019, exchanged for hiring a personal expert. He stated that the matter is currently under appeal within the NACC process, which involves additional witness examinations. Personally, he hopes for a decision as soon as possible, as it significantly affects him, including lost opportunities for royal decorations over recent years. Therefore, he requests the NACC to reconsider the decision he has appealed.

Natthachon also affirmed that he is not stalling the case and, if possible, wants the process to proceed swiftly, as it could affect many aspects of his career, including future positions and public confidence. He emphasized that this case concerns medical treatment and is not a matter of major corruption or embezzlement. He concluded by saying, “This is merely a medical treatment case involving surgery. Though I have politically almost 'died and revived,' I ask for the opportunity to return to serve the nation.”
