On 6 May 2026, Ms. Supamas Isarapakdi, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and Bangkok overseer for the Bhumjaithai Party, commented on the emerging candidacies for Bangkok Metropolitan Council seats from various parties, stating that the Bhumjaithai Party has not yet held official discussions on the matter.
Ms. Supamas said the issue must await the party executive committee's consideration and joint discussion on whether to field candidates under the party name. She believes there is still enough time to prepare and make a decision.
