
The government is promoting THAIFEX - ANUGA ASIA 2026, a grand event spanning the entire IMPACT Muang Thong Thani from 26-30 May under the theme “BIGGER - BETTER - BOLDER,” reaffirming Thailand as the global food trade hub, with expected economic activity exceeding 130 billion baht.
10 May 2026 GMT+7 Ms. Lalida Pertwivatana, Deputy Spokesperson of the Office of the Prime Minister, revealed that the government is advancing the Thai food industry onto the global trade stage. Recently, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, together with the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) and Koelnmesse (KM), are preparing to organize THAIFEX - ANUGA ASIA 2026, the largest comprehensive food and beverage exhibition in Asia, from 26-30 May 2026 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. This year’s event is fully loaded under the concept “BIGGER - BETTER - BOLDER,” becoming bigger, better, and more outstanding in every dimension.
The government prioritizes elevating Thailand as the “global food trade hub” by creating a platform connecting Thai entrepreneurs with international markets, expanding trade, export, and investment opportunities in the food and beverage sector, which is one of the country's key strategic industries.
Ms. Lalida added, THAIFEX - ANUGA ASIA 2026 will gather buyers, importers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders from over 130 countries worldwide, with more than 1,168 exhibitors from Thailand and abroad participating. The event is expected to generate trade value exceeding 130 billion baht. This will stimulate the economy, generate income, and increase opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs at all levels to access global markets more effectively.
