‘Aem’ Tags ‘Oak-Ink’ Posting Touching Clip About the End of a Long Wait, Calls This Episode the Most Bitter and Hard to Swallow

Aem Pinthongtha, daughter of Thaksin, tagged Oak and Ink in a touching clip describing the Shinawatra family atmosphere visiting her father. She revealed that over nearly 20 years there have been many episodes, but this episode is the most bitter and hardest to swallow. She thanked everyone for their support, saying the wait is about to end and that it holds great meaning.

On 10 May 2026, Ms. Pinthongtha Shinawatra Kunakornwong, daughter of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, posted a video of her journey visiting Thaksin, set to the song "Rao" by the band COCKTAIL. The caption read: "Our many and long stories have passed through nearly 20 years... Life has had many episodes. I admit this episode is the most bitter and hardest to swallow (these past 8 months) because we've seen loved ones go through this in Khlong Prem. Though he has never made us feel troubled."

My father not only endures and lets go, but he often shares life lessons and sends smiles to his children and grandchildren, comforting them each time they visit.

It's not easy, but my father tries very hard. The children understand this well.

He has repeatedly told us not to worry and to send his concern outward—to tell everyone waiting for us not to be anxious or distressed during this wait.

Finally, the wait is about to end. Aem and her family thank everyone sincerely for all the support sent to us throughout this difficult journey. Every tear shed by those who, even without knowing us personally, endure the heat, cry, hold our hands tightly, and send encouragement every time we visit—it means a great deal.

And last but not least, thank you to our parents who raised the three of us with love and warmth, keeping us close and never letting go. She tagged her brother Panthongtae Shinawatra and sister Paethongtarn Shinawatra, former prime minister.
