Anutin refuses to compare the 'Strong Thailand' and 'Thailand Helps Thailand' programs, urging not to use experience as leverage. He rebukes Sirikanya's mockery of a five-page document, retorting about the difference between competent and incompetent workers.
At 10:50 a.m. on 11 May 2026, at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, was interviewed regarding Korn Chatikavanich, a party-list MP and Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party, who stated that issuing the 400-billion-baht loan decree might jeopardize fiscal discipline. Anutin said, "As the opposition, he must think that way. We, as the government, must act quickly to solve problems for the people."
When asked about the differences between the 'Strong Thailand' project under the Democrat Party government and the current 'Thailand Helps Thailand' program, Anutin said the intention is for everyone to help improve the economy. He urged not to compare, as it might lead to conflict. He affirmed that the current government's 'Thailand Helps Thailand Plus' program will accelerate relief and economic recovery for the people.
When asked whether the government should heed Korn's political experience-based criticism, the Prime Minister replied that reasonable points are always considered. Everyone has political experience and successes in their work. He advised against using experience as a tool to intimidate or compare, saying, "It’s obvious to see."
When asked about Sirikanya Tansakul, Deputy Leader of the Prachachon Party, who criticized the draft 400-billion-baht loan decree for consisting of only five pages, the Prime Minister responded, "That demonstrates efficiency. This shows the difference between those who are capable workers and those who have never worked." The Prime Minister paused briefly before adding, "If I say more, it will just cause more issues."
