The Prime Minister guarantees there is no internal conflict in the Ministry of Interior, affirms that all factions work in harmony, and denies issues regarding the transfer of two Directors-General. Meanwhile, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior refuses to comment on allegations of unfair transfers.
On 11 May 2026 at the Government House, after delivering directives to village headmen and village chiefs, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, affirmed the ministry's unity despite underlying tensions concerning senior civil servant transfers. Notably, former Directors-General of the Department of Provincial Administration and the Department of Local Administration have filed lawsuits against what they claim are unjust transfer orders. However, the Prime Minister saw no issues, saying that cooperation among the Permanent Secretary, Directors-General, and provincial governors remains harmonious and without fractures. He emphasized that the Ministry of Interior includes factions known as the blue, white, and red lions, all working together without problems related to factionalism or divisions.
Meanwhile, Atsit Sampanrat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, who has become a focal point after the Integrity Protection Committee (G.P.K.) ruled that the transfer orders moving Narucha Khosasivilai and Chaiwat Juntirapong to inspector positions were "unlawful," declined to answer questions about the matter before promptly entering the Thai Khu Fah Building.
