Prime Minister Rides Motorcycle with Supajee to Promote Thai Help Thai Project Around Government House

Anutin took Supajee as a passenger to demonstrate riding a mobile vendor motorcycle, promoting the "Thai Help Thai" project, confirming that product prices are approximately 10%, 20%, and over 30% lower than the market. He supported fish sauce vendors and received a flu vaccine before leading the Cabinet meeting.

On 12 May 2026 at 09:20 at the Santi Maitri Building (outer rear) of the Government House, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired the opening of the "Thai Help Thai, Reduce Living Costs" activity. Several ministers attended, including Supajee Suthempan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce; Pakorn Nilprapunt, Deputy Prime Minister; and Aeknath Promphan, Minister of Energy. Anutin wore a vest for the "Thai Help Thai, Reduce Living Costs" project. Upon arrival, he took photos with the ministers before inspecting mobile vendor vehicles participating in the project selling products at reduced prices, including pickup trucks and sidecar motorcycles. While greeting vendors, he inquired about product prices.

Afterward, Anutin drove a sidecar motorcycle mobile vendor vehicle with Mrs. Supajee riding as passenger from the front of the Santi Maitri Building to the Thai Khu Fah Building. He then picked up products to show the media, such as cooking oil and carrots. When asked by reporters about what was for sale, the Prime Minister replied, "Everything." He then sang a playful fruit song listing cucumbers, melons, jackfruit, custard apple, jujube, mangosteen, sapodilla, longan, starfruit, rose apple, kaffir lime, lime, coconut, pomelo, winter melon, watermelon, followed by cheers. He added these products are sold in villages at prices about 10%, 20%, to over 30% lower than the market. Products from the mobile vendor vehicles are cheaper than general market prices. These vehicles operate within the Ministry of Commerce's "Thai Help Thai" project. He asked all Thai people to know these products are available at prices below market rates. The government received support from entrepreneurs; the first batch of products was given to entrepreneurs to sell through mobile vendors to the public. Proceeds from sales are used to restock goods. The government assists at the start and provides free fuel.

When asked if the project could continue if the economy improves, Supajee said it could. She explained the intention is to include consumer goods from SMEs, small operators, and community entrepreneurs as part of this project.

Then, the Prime Minister toured the product stalls within the Santi Maitri Building participating in the "Thai Help Thai" project, thanking entrepreneurs for joining. Meanwhile, entrepreneurs gave him fish sauce, which he paid for. He then proceeded to Building 1 Command Center to promote an exhibition on infectious disease prevention by the Ministry of Public Health. The Prime Minister also received a flu vaccine. At 10:00, Anutin chaired the Cabinet meeting. On the same day, three ministers requested leave from the meeting: Prasert Chanruangthong, Minister of Education; Warawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry; and Sabida Thaiseth, Minister of Culture.
