
The Cabinet has approved an emergency budget of 452 million baht to compensate 91 personnel from the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, Army, and Navy affected by the Thai-Cambodian border incident.
On 12 May 2026, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister, announced that the Cabinet approved the fiscal year 2026 budget allocation from the central contingency fund for emergencies or urgent needs. The total amount of 452,350,000 baht was allocated to the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, Army, and Navy, as proposed by the Ministry of Defence. This fund aims to alleviate and compensate 91 personnel who suffered physical and psychological impacts from the incident at the Thai-Cambodian border.
