The government spokesperson revealed that the Prime Minister is concerned about the issues of agricultural land and has ordered the Land Policy Committee (LPC) to expedite the certification of community title deeds, to be completed within 60 days.
On 12 May 2026, Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, stated that the government has a policy to promote land ownership for citizens. Currently, there is legislation empowering the Land Policy Committee (LPC) to establish fair land distribution methods.
At today's Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul instructed the Land Policy Committee (LPC) to accelerate the certification of community title deeds issued under the Prime Minister's Office regulation on community title deeds, which has just been repealed. This certification should follow the fair land distribution format as specified in Section 10(4) of the LPC Act, to legally recognize these community title deeds within 60 days.
