Sereepisuth Gathers MPs Signatures to Target Anutin and Chaiyachonok over Khao Kradong Land Encroachment and Race Event Budget Misuse

Sereepisuth has a grand plan to gather signatures from MPs aiming to use the Constitutional Court to remove Anutin and Chaiyachonok from office over the Khao Kradong land encroachment and misappropriation of funds for race events.

On 14 May 2026, Police General Sereepisuth Temiyavet, leader of the Seri Ruam Thai Party, launched a major campaign to collect signatures from opposition MPs—at least one-tenth of the House—to submit a petition to the Constitutional Court. The petition seeks to revoke the ministerial status of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Digital Minister Chaiyachonok Chidchob, citing clear evidence of dishonesty and serious ethical violations.

Police General Sereepisuth said there is clear evidence on two main issues: the Khao Kradong land in Buriram Province. Although the court ruled that over 5,000 rai belong to the State Railway of Thailand (SRT), the two ministers and influential figures still possess and use the land, which includes a football field, race track, and private residences. They allegedly use state power to interfere with the Department of Lands and the SRT to delay revoking land titles and halt legal actions over encroachment.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports has been used as a channel to squander state budget supporting motorcycle road racing at the family-owned track. Recently, a budget of up to 7 billion baht for the year 2027 was approved, which is seen as diverting public funds to profit the family business.

Police General Sereepisuth added that he plans to submit a case to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) to pursue criminal charges under Section 157 against the Permanent Secretary of the Interior Ministry, the Director-General of the Department of Lands, and the SRT governor for neglecting their duties by failing to revoke land as ordered by the court. He vowed to go to Buriram to file complaints against the entire Chidchob family for encroaching on state land, a non-compoundable offense, insisting there will be no fixed matches in this case.
