A list has been released of 38 major private sector tycoons who joined the Prime Minister and Cabinet in discussions to find ways to improve the country's economic competitiveness.
On 15 May 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that after Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul and the Cabinet invited senior executives from 10 key industrial sectors to attend a consultation and exchange opinions at the Government House in the evening. The key objective was to jointly seek ways to enhance the country's economic competitiveness. A total of 38 participants arrived for the discussion.
They included:
- Three institutions: the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking (JSCCIB) and the Tourism Council of Thailand
