Sudarat defends the Joint Private Sector Committee (JCCI) after it exposed the top 10 most corrupt agencies, emphasizing they should receive flowers, not stones, and urges the formation of a 'People's Anti-Corruption Committee' to eradicate corruption.
On 16 May 2026, Khun Ying Sudarat Keyuraphan, leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party, posted remarks expressing support for the Joint Private Sector Committee (JCCI) for their courage in driving Thailand toward "Zero Corruption" by publicly revealing survey results on corruption within government agencies. She also criticized certain authorities who responded with attacks against the survey findings.
Khun Ying Sudarat stated that corruption is a drag causing Thai people to be impoverished and the economy to plunge. The facts reflected by the JCCI—that corruption is worsening to the extent it undermines the country's competitiveness—are something those in power should listen to, rather than attacking those who provide the information.
"The courage shown by the JCCI in revealing these facts should not be met with stones but with flowers and praise from those in power. If the authorities are truly sincere in fighting corruption, they will recognize the value of these survey results, which serve as a treasure trove of data provided by the JCCI to be used for serious anti-corruption efforts."
The Thai Sang Thai Party views the private sector and business operators as directly affected by extortion and thus as those who best know which officials or authorities in which agencies are corrupt. The government should seize this opportunity to turn the crisis into a chance by involving the JCCI concretely in anti-corruption measures, aligning with the government's 4T policy regarding Transformation and Togetherness.
The party leader called on the Prime Minister to take real action against corruption by proposing two measures: to declare anti-corruption a genuine national agenda and to appoint a 'People's Anti-Corruption Committee' including representatives from the JCCI and the public with full authority to conduct oversight. The party believes that empowering the private sector and citizens to participate in anti-corruption efforts will reduce corruption statistics in Thailand and surely lead the country toward the #ZeroCorruption goal, benefiting both the nation and the government itself.
