The Royal Gazette published an announcement that His Majesty the King has graciously appointed Mom Luang Panadda Diskul as a Privy Councillor, effective immediately.
On 16 May 2026, the Royal Gazette website published an announcement regarding the appointment of a Privy Councillor stating: His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua has graciously issued a royal command to announce that, following the appointment of Mr. Supachai Phungam as a Privy Councillor by the proclamation dated 6 December 2016, Mr. Supachai Phungam has since respectfully resigned from his Privy Councillor position due to health issues. The King has deemed it appropriate to appoint an additional Privy Councillor. Under the authority granted by Sections 10, 11, and 14 of the 2017 Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Majesty has graciously appointed Mom Luang Panadda Diskul as a Privy Councillor.
This appointment is effective from now onward.
