Introducing Mart – Apivat Dansrichanchai, a member of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council from the Orange Party, who is running again in the 2026 Bangkok election for Chatuchak District under the Prachachon Party banner, aiming to secure another term as BMC member.


On 17 May 2026, the countdown begins. The Governor of Bangkok and Members of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council (BMC) whose terms end on 21 May 2026, along with many candidates for governor and BMC members, whether representing political parties or as independents, have gradually announced their intention to run. The 2026 Bangkok election is scheduled by the Election Commission to take place on Sunday, 28 June 2026.

Profile of Apivat Dansrichanchai

One of those who announced plans to run again for the 2026 BMC election is Mr. Apivat Dansrichanchai, BMC member for Chatuchak District from the Prachachon Party. He will again seek election in Chatuchak under the Prachachon Party.

Regarding the background of Mr. Apivat Dansrichanchai, nicknamed Mart, he was born on 31 August 1989 and will be 37 years old in 2026. He holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Ramkhamhaeng University and a master's degree in Public Administration from Asia-Pacific International University. Prior to politics, he ran a private business.

In his political career, Mr. Apivat Dansrichanchai entered the BMC election in 2022 and was elected by Chatuchak residents. During his term, he participated in numerous standing and special committees, including serving as chairperson and vice chairperson as follows:
