Chaiyachonok Unfazed by Sereepisuths Plan to Petition Constitutional Court for Removal over Khao Kradong Issue, Affirms Complete Land Ownership Documents

Chaiyachonok declared he is not concerned after Sereepisuth plans to petition the Constitutional Court for removal over the Khao Kradong issue, affirming he has complete land ownership documents. He said the matter has been under legal process for some time and denied any failure to take action.

At 09:45 on 19 May 2026 at the Government House, Mr. Chaiyachonok Chidchop, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, gave an interview regarding Police General Sereepisuth Temiyavet, party-list MP from the Seri Ruam Thai Party, planning to petition the Constitutional Court to remove Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul and Mr. Chaiyachonok from office due to serious ethical violations related to failure to act on the Khao Kradong land issue in Buriram Province. He said he is not worried as everything is under legal process.

When asked whether he sees this as a political game, Mr. Chaiyachonok said it is possible, but everything is already within the legal process, so they will wait and see how it unfolds. He emphasized he is not worried because he holds all the necessary land ownership documents and affirms his rights. However, he noted the matter has been in the legal process for some time, so he is not sure what actions are alleged as not taken.
