For state enterprises, financial institutions, educational institutions, and the private sector in areas surrounding the meeting venue, cooperation is requested to consider appropriate measures according to local conditions and work requirements. Agencies with essential duties or pre-scheduled public services that would be adversely affected by cancellation should have their heads consider appropriate actions to avoid harm to government operations and public services.
These measures aim to alleviate traffic congestion, facilitate travel, and ensure maximum security for finance ministers and central bank governors of member countries, ensuring the event proceeds smoothly and efficiently. “It is expected that finance ministers, central bank governors from member countries, global financial institution executives, thought leaders, and over 15,000 academics from 190 countries will come to Thailand to exchange views on the global economy and financial matters as well as strategies to address various challenges.”
