Klattham Strengthens Team, Assigns Deputy Party Leaders to Oversee All Regions

"Klattham" strengthens its team, assigning deputy party leaders to oversee every region, opens a complaint center to assist Thai citizens nationwide, and sets up a new spokesperson team aiming for proactive communication. ,

At 16:20 on 19 May 2026 GMT+7, at the Klattham Party headquarters, Mr. Attakorn Sirilattayakorn, MP for Chachoengsao and party spokesperson, announced after a meeting of the party's executive committee and MPs that this was the first meeting of the new executive committee following last month's annual general meeting. The party underwent a significant restructuring, including changes to the party leader, secretary-general, registrar, and deputy party leaders. Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, the party leader, officially assigned the roles.

Mr. Attakorn said that at the 13:00 meeting, Lt. Col. Thammanat assigned the 12 deputy party leaders to drive the party's work, focusing on both public care and managing regions nationwide. The country was divided into regional zones: North, Northeast, East, Central and West, South, and Bangkok. Seven deputy leaders will oversee these local areas.

Meanwhile, five other deputy party leaders are assigned to manage "clusters" focused on key national missions such as the economy, society, security, and infrastructure. This division aims to enhance the party's work efficiency by sharing responsibilities.

"The goal of the Klattham Party is to expand its membership and increase the number of Members of Parliament to serve the people more comprehensively," Mr. Attakorn added.

Additionally, the meeting approved the establishment of the "Klattham Party Complaint Center" within the party headquarters building. This center will provide a space for citizens to directly file complaints and express hardships. Preparations for the facility and operational systems are currently underway.

Mr. Attakorn noted that Dr. Thanin will serve as the center's director, supported by a team to receive complaints from the public. This will enable the party to respond promptly to issues and hardships faced by citizens. At the same time, the party has restructured its spokesperson team following proposals by Secretary-General Mr. Pai Likk to improve communication effectiveness and comprehensively reflect the party's stance on various issues.

The new spokesperson team includes Mr. Piyawat Kittithanesaworn, MP for Nakhon Nayok; Ms. Phenpak Rattanakhamfoo, MP for Lampang; Ms. Wongakeu Boonsol, MP for Sakon Nakhon; Mr. Yunaydi Waba, MP for Pattani; and Ms. Airin Panrit, former deputy spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office.

Mr. Attakorn said the new spokesperson team will collectively communicate the party's positions on key issues including the economy, society, welfare, women's rights, and security matters—especially issues in the southern border provinces. They will also act as a voice for the people and monitor government actions where they believe wrongdoing has occurred.

"The Klattham Party will strive to be the voice of the people and fully communicate the party's commitment to solving their problems," Mr. Attakorn said.
