One candidate seeking re-election is Ms. Lakana Phakdeenarunat, Talat Chan District Councilor. Lakana Phakdeenarunat was born on 29 September 1956. In 2026, she will turn 70. She is the spouse of Police Major General Suphisan Phakdeenarunat, Chairman of the Thai Tham Party Advisory Board and former Deputy Leader of the Progressive Party. She holds a bachelor's degree in Education from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and a master's degree in Political Science (Politics and Governance) from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University.
