“Phai Lik” Receives Complaint from Beauty Clinic Victims After Radiesse Injection Causes Facial Swelling and Lumps

“Phai Lik” received complaint letters from victims of a beauty clinic after Radiesse injections caused facial swelling and lumps. He is preparing to push the matter onto the Consumer Protection Commission’s agenda, calling the clinics for explanations and expediting nationwide protective measures for service users.

At 1:00 p.m. on 20 May 2026, Mr. Phai Lik, Second Vice Chairperson of the Consumer Protection Commission of the House of Representatives, along with his team, accepted a complaint letter from Ms. Phatsaya Yongrattanamongkol, an actress and model, who is a victim after receiving Radiesse injections—a collagen-stimulating substance for the face. Instead, she experienced abnormal symptoms with facial swelling and large lumps, resulting in lost work opportunities. She demanded the clinic take responsibility for the incident.

After receiving the complaint, Mr. Phai Lik stated that the commission has received many similar reports. The issue will be included in the commission’s meeting agenda, where the clinic owners will be invited to discuss and find solutions promptly. The goal is to enhance protection for cosmetic service users. He also urged others suffering similar problems to submit complaints to the commission for consideration in protecting beauty service consumers further.

Mr. Kantapon Duangumporn, the commission’s spokesperson, added that the damages affect victims both physically and psychologically, causing loss of professional opportunities. The commission will expedite efforts to find solutions to this problem promptly.
