“Phai Lik” Receives Complaints from Beauty Clinic Victims After Injection Causes Facial Swelling and Lumps

“Phai Lik” receives complaint letters from victims of beauty clinics after injections caused facial swelling and lumps. He is preparing to bring the matter to the Consumer Protection Committee agenda, summoning clinics for explanations and urgently seeking nationwide measures to protect service users.

At 1:00 p.m. on 20 May 2026, Mr. Phai Lik, Second Vice Chairman of the Consumer Protection Committee of the House of Representatives, along with his team, received a complaint letter from Ms. Patrasaya Yongrattanamongkol, an actress and model who suffered adverse effects after receiving a collagen-stimulating injection on her face. She developed abnormal symptoms, including facial swelling and large lumps, which caused her to lose work opportunities. She called for the responsible clinic to be held accountable for the incident.

After receiving the complaint, Mr. Phai Lik stated that the committee has received many similar complaints. Therefore, the issue will be placed on the committee's meeting agenda. The committee will invite the clinic owner to attend a meeting to find solutions promptly and improve protection for beauty enhancement services. He also urged other affected individuals to submit complaint letters to the committee to aid in considering protections for beauty service consumers.

Mr. Kantapon Duangamporn, the committee's spokesperson, added that the damages affect both physical and mental health, causing loss of professional opportunities. Efforts will be accelerated to find solutions to the problem as soon as possible.
