Watch: Work Team Launches Candidates for Bangkok Council Tomorrow with Campaign “Making Bangkok Possible”

Duangrit Benjathikul Chairungreung will launch 29 Bangkok Council candidates from diverse professions tomorrow as part of the campaign “Work Team Making Bangkok Possible.”

On 22 May 2026, Duangrit Benjathikul Chairungreung, leader of the work team and former party-list MP of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, posted on Facebook announcing the work team along with Bangkok residents: “Are you ready? This Saturday, join us at the launch event ‘Work Team Making Bangkok Possible,’ where everyone will get to know the ‘work team Bangkok Council candidates’ and the full independent work team ready to make Bangkok a city possible for all.”

A spoiler: besides meeting genuine work team members, there will be fun activities allowing everyone to write creative ideas and exchange various urban issues together. We believe every district and community holds people who see the city’s potential and have great ideas hidden inside. We invite everyone to join in managing the city because the city council isn’t just for council members, but belongs to all Bangkok residents.

Reporters note that the work team organizing this major launch will introduce the team leader, urban experts, and both new and returning independent Bangkok Council candidates—27 professionals from various fields—at the Tobacco Factory, Benjakitti Forest Park (near the auditorium at the museum building) on Saturday, 23 May 2026, from 16:00 to 17:30, under the campaign “Work Team Making Bangkok Possible,” with the slogan “Bangkok Is Possible.”
