The government invites shops nationwide to join the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus 60/40” program to increase sales. Shops that previously participated can confirm their rights via the Thung Ngern app from 25 to 30 May, while new shops can register through Krungthai Bank from 25 May to 31 July.
On 23 May 2026, Ms. Lalida Pertwivatana, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, disclosed that under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, the government is pushing to stimulate the grassroots economy through the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus 60/40” program. This initiative aims to reduce living costs for the public while increasing income for small entrepreneurs, community shops, and local businesses nationwide. Registration for shops to join the program opens from 25 May 2026 onward.
The Deputy Spokesperson stated that shops previously participating in the “Khon La Khrueng Plus” program can confirm their participation rights via the “Thung Ngern” application from 25 May to 30 September 2026. Shops that have never joined before can register at Krungthai Bank branches from 25 May to 31 July 2026. However, massage parlors, spas, nail salons, and hair salons are not eligible to participate in this round.
Spending through participating shops will be allowed from 1 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 23:00. Meanwhile, spending via Food Delivery services will start from 15 June to 30 September 2026, between 06:00 and 21:00. These measures aim to facilitate easier access to goods and services for the public and help increase income channels for shops.
Ms. Lalida said the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus 60/40” program is another key government measure to drive the domestic economy by supporting spending among the government, the public, and small entrepreneurs. The goal is to circulate funds widely through the grassroots economy and help sustain consumer purchasing power during the economic recovery period.
“The government invites shops nationwide to participate in the program to increase business opportunities, expand customer bases, and be part of driving Thailand’s economy from the community level. The government believes that distributing economic opportunities to small shops and local people will help build a sustainable and strong Thai economy.”
