Lisa Fires Back at Seripisut Over Khao Kradong Issue, Affirms Peoples Party Never Colluded

Lisa fired back fiercely at Pol. Gen. Seripisut over the Khao Kradong issue, affirming that the People's Party has never colluded with anyone, but refuses to share the ideology of granting the Constitutional Court monopoly power to suppress and eliminate politicians.

On 23 May 2026, Ms. Pakamon Nun-anun, spokesperson for the People's Party, publicly responded to Pol. Gen. Seripisut Temiyaves, leader of the Seri Ruam Thai Party, following his post demanding the names of 50 'Orange Camp' MPs to fight the "Stop Anutin, Reclaim Khao Kradong" campaign. He also implied that the People's Party refused to cooperate on public matters. Ms. Pakamon stated the People's Party's position has been active and continuous investigation, affirming that regarding the collusion of senators and the Khao Kradong land issue, the People's Party has been seriously investigating both inside and outside parliament, with no collusion or under-the-table deals with anyone.

The People's Party spokesperson added that the party opposes expanding the powers of independent agencies. The reason for not signing is that the party does not support increasing the Constitutional Court's authority to monopolize interpretations of "ethical standards," which are decided by the discretion of a few individuals, risking becoming a tool to target elected politicians. They adhere to regular law and the public’s voice. If wrongdoing is found, they support proceeding through existing legal channels that already provide comprehensive penalties. They emphasized that ethics should be a political responsibility judged by the public, not the role of a specific group.

"If you, Seripisut, recognize past problems but still continue as before, then the question must be asked whether throughout your political career you have ever reflected on whether your actions benefit the political system and the strength of democracy," Ms. Pakamon said.
