Permanent Secretary of the Interior Notifies 76 Provinces to Invite All Sectors to Join Celebrations Honoring Her Majesty the Queens 4th Cycle Birthday Anniversary

The Permanent Secretary of the Interior has informed all 76 provinces across the country, inviting every sector to join in the celebratory activities on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 4th cycle birthday anniversary on 3 June 2026 GMT+7.


On 23 May 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Arsit Sampantharat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, revealed that the organizing committee for the celebrations on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 4th cycle birthday anniversary on 3 June 2026 has approved events to be held at the central, regional, and international levels. The Ministry of Interior has been assigned to coordinate the regional activities.

The Permanent Secretary of the Interior stated that to ensure the celebrations on this auspicious occasion proceed smoothly and with proper honor, the Ministry has notified provinces, districts, and coordinated with local administrative organizations to jointly organize and encourage all local sectors to participate. Agencies may consider suitable activities between 1 March and 31 December 2026 GMT+7.

For regional celebrations during June 2026, designated as the month of the auspicious occasion from 1 to 30 June 2026, activities include: 1. Setting up altars with portraits of Her Majesty the Queen along with royal offerings at provincial buildings; and 2. Decorating venues with portraits of Her Majesty the Queen, the Thai national flag, the royal cypher flag S.T., and white drapes, including lighting decorations on office buildings. The official ceremonies will take place on Wednesday, 3 June 2026 at the provincial hall or suitable venues (simultaneously with central events), chaired by the provincial governor, consisting of: 1) 07:00 - Buddhist chanting and almsgiving for royal merit; 2) 17:30 - Royal offerings and floral tribute ceremony; 3) 19:29 - Candle lighting ceremony to bestow royal blessings.

Regarding public participation, a royal blessing message has been prepared and shared along with images of royal duties on provincial websites and online media from 1 to 15 June 2026. Signing tables for royal blessing messages will be available at provincial halls, district offices, local administrative offices, and other suitable locations, as well as on official websites. For volunteer activities in public service and merit-making on this auspicious occasion, details can be followed via public relations channels of each province, district, or local administrative organization to encourage united, voluntary participation for the benefit of the local community. This serves as an expression of loyalty and reverence for the nation’s fundamental institution, especially the monarchy, which is the guiding and unifying spirit of all Thai people.
