On 25 May 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that a group of Pheu Thai Party members led by Ms. Theerarat Samretwanich, Deputy Leader of the Pheu Thai Party and Chairperson for the Bangkok region, along with prospective Bangkok Metropolitan Council candidates, jointly launched the campaign "Pheu Thai Life in Balance: A City That Understands Its People, Trust Those Who Understand the City" by simultaneously changing their Facebook profile and cover photos today.
This gathering was initiated by local Pheu Thai Party members after the party did not officially endorse any Bangkok Metropolitan Council candidates. However, party members decided to unite as a team to run a joint campaign and present themselves to the public in each district, focusing on a vision of a city where ordinary people can live well. The team has connections to the government and the capability to effectively implement national-level policies at the city level.
The prospective council candidates participating in the campaign launch "Pheu Thai Life in Balance" include: 1. Hia Lan Suthichai Weerakulsunthorn, Chom Thong district; 2.
