Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, revealed his health has improved by 80 percent after fainting and needing CPR in Udon Thani. He confirmed he is now okay and ready to resume work, thanking everyone for their support.
At 09:50 on 26 May 2026 at the Government House, Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, spoke about his condition after being treated at Bangkok Udon Hospital on 25 May. He said his health has now recovered to 80 percent. Today, Bangkok Udon Hospital will send his treatment records to Bangkok Hospital. Doctors have indicated the causes include insufficient rest and hot weather conditions.
When asked about concerns over reports that he required CPR, Suriya said he prefers not to dwell on it as it was distressing. He added that it has passed well and expressed thanks to everyone who sent messages of encouragement.
When further asked if his health is now strong enough for work, Suriya responded, “Yes, I’m okay now.”
