Pradorn Denies Existence of Blue Regime, Counters Teng Nattapong Claim That Only Blue Parties Grow from Orange Parties

"Pradorn" denies the existence of a blue regime, counters "Teng Nattapong" by saying only blue parties have grown from orange parties, asserts being an agent of the people leading to becoming the top party with 192 seats, and urges stopping narrative-building to promote constructive politics.,

At 09:40 on 26 May 2026, Mr. Pradorn Prissanantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and a key leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, commented on Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People's Party, who claimed that the Bhumjaithai Party is an agent of the blue regime. Pradorn said all parties elected through polls are agents—agents of the people who chose them. The Bhumjaithai Party is likewise an agent of the people, presenting policies that voters approved, thus earning their votes. Similarly, the Pheu Thai and People's Parties are agents of those who marked them, tasked with fulfilling promises to the public.

Regarding the "blue regime," Pradorn said he does not know what that means, but acknowledged that the Bhumjaithai Party uses blue as its symbol and is therefore called a blue party. He accepts that it is a blue party.

"The blue party grew from the election on 8 February. Before that, the blue party grew out of the orange party. Bhumjaithai had only 70 seats and could not form a government, serving as a minority government supported by the orange party. This support enabled us to form a government and allowed Mr. Anutin to become Prime Minister, managing the country for a brief period of less than four months according to the MOA. We used every second to advance promised policies to the People's Party and the public. Over two months, we built confidence among voters leading to the 8 February election, which resulted in the blue party’s growth and winning 192 seats."

Regarding the People's Party's recent activities, Pradorn said they are creating narratives to discredit the government. He urged everyone to return to constructive politics, noting the country currently faces an economic crisis. He called on all sides to stop spreading such narratives. If you are the opposition, perform your duty to reasonably criticize through parliamentary mechanisms, not by suddenly inventing new narratives like the "blue regime," which he does not understand. He reiterated that only the blue party exists now.

When asked whether he would call on the People's Party leader to clarify who is behind the so-called blue regime, Pradorn said he does not know and reiterated that political parties are agents of the people, working to achieve the goals for which they were elected.
