Urgent Order for All Districts to Assist Citizens and Shops Registering for Thai Chuey Thai Plus

The Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration has ordered all districts to urgently go into the field to facilitate and assist citizens and shops in registering for the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40)” program after problems with facial scan identity verification failed.

On 26 May 2026, Mr. Narucha Kosasivilai, Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, disclosed that following the Cabinet resolution on 19 May 2026 approving the "Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40)" project to aid citizens and entrepreneurs affected by the energy crisis, many people have encountered problems using the system—for example, failing facial scan identity verification on the G-Wallet via the “Pao Tang” app, lacking understanding of the app’s use, and overcrowding at Krung Thai Bank branches due to many visiting simultaneously.

To expedite facilitation and lessen the burden on citizens, on 26 May 2026 the Director-General signed a letter to all provincial governors, instructing districts nationwide to promptly assist citizens and business operators in registering and using the “Tung Ngern” app to participate in the “Thai Chuey Thai Plus (60/40)” program closely.

At the same time, he assigned district clerks, village heads, village chiefs, and village committees to coordinate with government agencies and local administrative organizations in proactive fieldwork to provide guidance, assistance, and facilitation to citizens and business operators interested in joining the program.

Business operators who meet the program’s conditions can register continuously. Those who previously joined the Khon La Khrueng Plus program can confirm their rights to participate until 30 September 2026, while new shops can register until 31 July 2026. Additionally, shops that participated before or newly registered and have passed data verification should check and accept the terms and conditions in the “Tung Ngern” app to complete registration. Citizens and business operators can review the program criteria, conditions, and more details at www.ไทยช่วยไทยพลัส.th.
