On 27 May 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that as Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul toured various booths at THAIFEX-ANUGA ASIA 2026, the most comprehensive food and beverage trade show in Asia, an emotional scene unfolded when a woman waited to meet the Prime Minister to express her heartfelt thanks.
The woman emotionally told the Prime Minister, “Finally, I get to meet you. I've waited eight years. Now I am very healthy.” She was one of the patients who benefited from organ donations through the "Heart with Wings" mission—a project where Anutin personally piloted his private plane to support medical teams in transporting life-saving organs nationwide. She revealed that she had received a pancreas and kidney transplant transported on the same flight, which restored her to full health. Previously, she had also expressed her gratitude on Facebook.
Upon hearing this, Anutin embraced her warmly and replied with a smile, “Lucky you. Congratulations. You look perfect now. No more spare parts needed.” The woman expressed her deep gratitude and wished the Prime Minister good health in return.
“She received organ donations eight years ago through the Heart with Wings mission that I organized. Normally, I don’t get to meet the patients, but when the doctor called me about this case, I immediately flew out. Today, meeting her in person and having her come to thank me like this, I admit I was truly moved and very happy,” Anutin said with a contented expression.
