
Yotsanan said it is a good omen after the People's Party joined in signing the Pheu Thai Party's constitutional amendment draft, with no division between government and opposition sides, and he expects smooth progress.
At 09:05 on 28 May 2026 GMT+7, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Yotsanan Wongwasit, who is also a party-list Member of Parliament for the Pheu Thai Party, gave an interview at the Government House regarding the case of the People's Party (Popchor), joining to sign in support of the Pheu Thai Party's constitutional amendment draft, saying it is a good thing and a positive omen.
When asked whether there is no division between government and opposition factions, Yotsanan responded, "Yes, we can work together on constitutional matters. That is a good thing." When asked if this means the constitutional amendment process will proceed smoothly, Yotsanan said, "Yes, I think it will go smoothly, as was stated before the election."
However, when asked again if this aligns with the public referendum calling for constitutional amendment, Yotsanan briefly stated, "Yes." Regarding whether the constitutional amendment will actually happen, Yotsanan said, "Yes, we will do our best."
