Stores Rush to Register for “Thai Chuey Thai Plus,” Pushing Ready-to-Use Merchants Past 600,000

The government is pleased as stores flock to register for “Thai Chuey Thai Plus,” with registrations continuing to surge. On 27 May, new sign-ups reached the highest level since the program began, pushing the number of ready-to-use merchants beyond 600,000.

On 28 May 2026, Ms. Lalida Pertwiwatthana, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the project “Thai Chuey Thai Plus” continues to receive ongoing support from entrepreneurs nationwide. The latest data as of 18:00 on 27 May 2026 shows that 12,840 new stores registered on that day alone—the highest daily figure since registration opened on 25 May 2026.

Comparing the past three days, the number of new store registrations has steadily increased: 12,429 on 25 May, 10,244 on 26 May, and a peak of 12,840 on 27 May. This reflects entrepreneurs’ confidence in the government’s economic stimulus measures and their desire to access business opportunities through this program.

Meanwhile, the number of stores that have "successfully registered and are ready to use" has also jumped significantly. On 27 May alone, 10,576 stores completed registration—more than double the number on the program's first registration day. This brings the total number of verified, ready-to-use stores in the Thai Chuey Thai Plus program to 605,812.

Ms. Lalida added that under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, the government is fully advancing grassroots economic stimulus measures to increase income for small entrepreneurs, community stores, and local businesses nationwide, while also reducing the living costs for the public.

"The rising number of registrations reflects that many entrepreneurs recognize the opportunity to reach customers and boost sales through the government’s program. The government will expedite the verification and approval process so stores can join and start using the program as quickly as possible," she said.
