Mr. Narong praised the Bangkok permanent secretary and his team for their excellent preparation, which made the registration process swift. He also confirmed approval of ballot papers that differ from those used in general elections, assuring that they contain no barcodes or QR codes.
The Bangkok permanent secretary reported that the first day of registration proceeded smoothly despite rain falling from about 03:00 to 04:00. He thanked candidates for their cooperation, especially regarding campaign vehicles, noting overall normal and orderly conditions. For the election day on Sunday, 28 June 2026, preparations have been made to handle possible rain. He urged the public to come out and vote in large numbers on election day.
